I have been enjoying my family and friends and figured I just might need to get back to work now. I am up to my elbows in orders and will actually be tied up for the next few weeks with my BIGGEST order ever! :)

My inbox is going crazy over the fact that the LDS Primary Theme for 2012 is Choose The Right!

And my CTR capes are a perfect fit for a prop, object lesson, or a gift for this year.

With 4 kiddos and Christmas just around the corner I am on the look out for fun inexpensive gift ideas. Luckily me, Blogtricity hooked me up with the greatest site called Growing Tree Toys.

This site is gathering place for all the fun, creative, and age appropriate gifts for kids.

Seriously amazing selection.

Growing Tree Toys sent me the Kid Concoctions Magic Bubble Art Kit to test out with my kids and we LOVED it. We made a whole night out of it.

This kit kept us busy the whole time. My kids enjoyed pouring the color drops into the mixing cups and getting to blow crazy colorful bubbles. And of course we had fun trying to create different pieces of artwork from these colorful bubbles. This kit also comes with 90 stickers and punch outs and multiple items that help create more than 16 bubble themed projects.

Super fun! The best part is that it is easy enough for my 4 year old and exciting enough for my 6 and 8 year old.

We all had fun and enjoyed the Kid Concoctions Magic Bubble Art Kit , great gift idea!

My kids are so excited and costumes are in the works. Sadly, my kids elementary will not let them wear their Halloween costumes to school so every year I look for cute themed clothes they can wear instead.

It's finally Fall, yay!

Halloween is just weeks away are you ready? Pumpkins ready to out on the porch?

I have been so excited for this season and ya wanna see what pushed me over the edge into full on Halloween mode...

A sweet little shop called Splasheroo sent me this outfit for my daughter: Can you even stand it!!?

As soon as I pulled it out of the packaging I was playing dress up with my daughter Macie.

She might be wearing this every day for the next 3 weeks.

Splasheroo not only makes their clothing with top notch quality but every thing in their shop is adorable and trendy.

I am in love with these ruffle leggings and think that I'm gonna have to get a handful more. They are stretchy and comfy and just flat out cute.

My daughters favorite part is the skirt and how it is "twirly". The tulle gives it that extra poof and it's nice thick elastic band will grow with her and allow her to wear it for a long time.

I am just so impressed with the stitching and detail. This outfit is the cutest thing and there are so many other adorable items in this shop you have to see.

I first heard about Jo Totes 2 years ago when I was looking all over for a nice padded camera bag for my Cannon that wasn't embarrassing to wear.

At first I looked everywhere in my town for one and found a whole lota nothin'. When I turned to looking online Jo Totes was the absolute front runner.

I love how cute these bags are. I knew I would be proud to pack my camera into one of these adorable bags and wear it everywhere I went.

Summer is winding down and kids are back in school which has given me some extra time to myself. Because of this I finally allowed myself to become a total Pinterest junkie!!

It looks so awesome with jeans and a T-shirt, and then I throw it on with a silk shirt and a blazer for a night out. I really do love it. I love the color scheme with the red and grey and I love how light it is when it's on. I never have to re-adjust like I would with a chain and a clasp.

I have 3 of my little chickens going into school this year! WOW. I am an old mama. So for the last 3 weeks we have been hitting the last days of summer as a family together and doing all the back to school traditions we have around here.
Sorry for the slow posting. After next week I will have so much more time on my hands and lots of fun reviews and giveaways to share with all you sweet and loyal followers.

I love Summer!

I love the sun and getting out in it. But with the beautiful sun comes the heat. I get super cranky when I am hot, (I dare say I take after my mother :)

Even easy things like getting ready in the morning make me crazy because in the past I have always thrown on my robe- it's a thick fuzzy robe- to get things done, put on make up, get kids ready and blow dry my hair.

I was so excited when a great shop called Underwrapz sent me a Kimono style robe to try out because it is Exactly what I needed. It's %100 cotton and has 3/4 length sleeves, you should see all the different prints you can pick from.

-brace yourself for my white legs....

It is so lightweight that I will admit I am tempted not to even get dressed in the morning.

Underwrapz is a company started by 2 friends in San Francisco who wanted to make robes for women that weren't slinky lacey robes that you get from your hubby and that are light weight so you can slip them on when your teenage son arrives unannounced with his buddies at 10pm.

They would be perfect for a wedding party gift for all your girlfriends, or for as a birthday gift for someone who needs a little relaxing.

I was also very impressed with the quality and details of this robe. I love getting things that I use everyday and even after I wash them a ton they still look brand spankin new.

Cute, comfortable and in my case rarely ever comes off when I am at home!

Listen up, cause I have such a great company for you all today!!!

I have wanted to test out Shelf Reliance products for Forever!! And when my friend Shelbi told me she wanted to send me a package full of goodies I about jumped for joy!

If you haven't heard about Shelf Reliance yet it is a company that specializes in freeze-dried food,all kinds of food rotation,
and emergency preparedness products that will give you peace of mind for whatever the future holds. All in all helping you become more self reliant.

I was sent so many fun items to test out including, *Instant milk- which I loved and switched out for our regular milk and my kids didn't even know- *Freeze Dried Fruits and Vegetables- another HUGE hit in our house and a great snack item as well-

*2 Delicious Deserts- that were so easy to make I just had to add water and they tasted gourmet- *Whole Egg Powder- this stuff is so amazing and I put it in so many things. Such a money saver!

And last but totally my Favorite is the *Premium Freeze Dried Cooked White Meat Chicken- I could have been sold on this item alone! I hate, Hate touching raw chicken and it's whole process of de-thawing and tasting freezer burnt.

With this chicken I skipped all of those nasty steps and went straight to the quick healthy chicken dinner. I LOVE it!

Shelf Reliance has category after category, list after list of all the wholesome food choices. You choose from grains,veggies & fruits, dairy, meat & beans, basics and entrees.

I'm a big believer in food storage and an even bigger believer in storing food that my family actually eats and likes to eat.

It is genius because you can use it as a baby bag or simultaneously as a baby bag and a hands free child carrier.

I love it for many reasons. First being that it is a great diaper bag. It's cute, it has a pocket for everything I would need, it is easy to clean and it comes with a great insulated snack bag and changing pad.

Now let's talk about the smartest part... Turning itself into a baby carrier!! Oh how I love this.

I have had many a carrier in my day with 4 kiddo's and this has to be the easiest one ever to put on and take off.

No crazy straps, or multiple bulky buckles. It is easy to transform and easy to put back away.

It has come in especially helpful for me this month because of my son's hospital stay because he is on 3 weeks of IV antibiotics and requires a pump during the day. I just plop that pump in the Sidekick bag and the tube is all stored inside and runs right up to his arm while he is in the carrier without any tangling.

I truly love this Sidekick. A must have for the mom on the go.

Well I was totally inspired and I put it up on my family blog. Since then, I have had a few women who have contacted me and said that they have old prom/formal dresses of their girls that are all grown and don't use them anymore.

It got me thinking that I myself have several prom/formal dresses have been hanging in my old bedroom closet at my parents house for 10 years.

Now that I am in Young Womens program for our church, I was really touched by the idea this young girl had and I know how hard it is for our Young Women to find and or afford a nice dress, let alone a modest one.

So I have decided to go for it!! I'm echoing this fabulous girl and I am going to see if I can provide the youth in my tiny town a place to go to browse through cute, non skanky formal dresses.

If any of you out there have any dresses (be they modest or not, any and all sizes) and you would like to help these girls out by donating, PLEASE contact me and spread the word for me. I would love to have an entire closet full by the end of summer and even to be able to gather a dress for each and every girl who this would be able to benefit. Now and for years to follow. :)

Summer Want List

I have some fantastic Reviews and Giveaway's set up for you all, but for the last 2 weeks I have been more busy than I have been all spring. Lot's of capes, lot's of church stuff and a whole lot of mommy stuff!

But before I get back on the regular schedule I just had to post some of my favorites right now. My list of summer wants, if you will.

First, for me: A girl can never have to many swim suits for summer. I am loving the anthropologie swim line this season.

I am a lucky lady and get sent all kinds of fun things to test out and review. Today's review is a little different. I wasn't sent anything from Boon, I just have loved it so much in my own home I wanted to make sure my readers knew all about this great company.
So I am just going to give you a quick run down of my Boon favorites:

The Squirt- this is a baby food dispensing spoon! GENIUS!! I wish so bad I had would have had one of these sooner for all of my older kids. My son uses this daily and it is so mess free that my big kids get to feed him all by them selves. Fabulous for car trips also!
The Fluid- The coolest sippy cup I have ever owned. So easy to hold and to clean. Also, spill resistant.

The Bug Pod- I think every kids tub should have one of these. We love our bug pod because it holds all the bath toys and lets them drain and dry. It also has a great built in shelf for my kids shampoo.

The Flair- This last one I do not own, but I want to. My current highchair is broken and this is on my list of have to have. It has no cracks or crevasses for food to hid in and best part..the tray is dishwasher safe and fits right in.

There you go, all you mama's out there. I give Boon 2 thumbs up!!

My kids beg me to have school lunch.

And while my oldest is responsible enough to keep track of her lunch money my son is another story.

But I have found the solution to my problem.

I don't think ours was put down for the first week we had it. They are so fun.
Each one is made with soft, thick, 100% natural wool felt. I love how thick they are and that they are so well made and put together by hand by Dimitri, an industrial designer living in Manhattan. (Super cool guy and awesome to work with also)

ALL I can think about is summer!! Am I alone?

I crave the beach, the hot sun and flip-flops. I have already gone crazy searching for fun new summer outfits for my kids and if your doing the same.....I'll tell ya.....search no further.

Tea sent each of my kids an adorable outfit from their new line that hasn't even come out yet.

A major upgrade has entered my playroom recently thanks to Wilson Graphics. Whaaaat? Never heard of their fabulous shop?? Let me fill you in....

Wilson Graphics is a vinyl wall decor studio where they design and create a variety of vinyl wall decals used for home decor products.

The decals are printed on commercial grade vinyl which will work indoors or outdoors.

You receive a quality product that is unique not mass produced overseas.

My kiddo's have been glued to our super cool new vinyl chalkboard....yes... it is the entire length of our wall. HUGE! We L.O.V.E it.

Easy to put up (I did it myself the first time I was so excited...but after it was up I realized due to the size of it I needed my hubby's help if I wanted it as smooth as it is intended to be)

It goes on nice and comes off nice and the same is said for the chalk. Such a fun new addition to our playtime. I can get so much more of my house cleaned without my kids at my feet because of this new creative outlet.

My hubby and I have not been so lucky when it comes to our original wedding rings.

Lately I had wanted to give up on decorating my girls' room. I get stuck in a rut and get lazy and don't want to do anything permanent like paint.

And like I mentioned, they also have fun hair care items. I got to try the Hana Shineshield and Chi Silk Infusion. I loved both items.

The Hana Shineshield is a thermal protectant that I put on before I blow my hair dry or use my straightener. It contains natural Jojoba oil which is the secret ingredient for deep moisturization. It absorbed into my ginormous head of hair quickly and helped restore it's shine.

The Chi Sink Infusion is also incredible. It acts as such a great leave in conditioner, thermal styling and hair repair. Here are some of it's great features:

Review~ Tadpoles- Sleep Sack

If you are looking for a great site that has perfect gifts for expecting mom's, new babies or if your doing some shopping for redoing your little ones bedroom.......then you have to check out Tadpoles Bedding Company.

They have all sorts of beautiful things.

I would love to have one of these play rugs in my toy room.

I was lucky, and got to do a test drive of their newest batch of products, the Tadpoles sleep sacks.

I think these are just a fantastic. They are warm snugly sleep sacks that snap on over your childs P.J's and cover them like a blanket. They are soooo soft and have so much room for little legs to move around in. I loved that it also unzips under the armpit and down around the legs so I could change diapers in the middle of the night without having to totally undress (and fully wake up) my son.

These are such a great alternative to loose blankets in the crib, helping to reduce the chance of SIDS. They are so great for the winter months and are roomy enough that I'll be able to put him in it until he is at least 10 months old.

You should really go check Tadpoles out and do some browsing. So many ideas and great products.

Review~ Wicked Big Bibs!

Doesn't the shop name alone just make you smile? I got to review a bib, not just any bib but a Wicked Big Bib!

Oh the awesomeness of these bibs.

I will never go back to those tiny thin bibs I used with all my other kiddo's. I have ruined many an outfit in the past because even though I used a bib while feeding my kids, their pants and their laps were never covered.

The Monster Mess Duo Bib drapes a child from neck to knee, and is designed to make buckling into a high chair or booster seat easy.

The larger than average width and length of the bib better protects your child's clothes while they are eating. Less frequent changes of clothes makes for less laundry and who wouldn't like that!

I always like to pick one favorite thing about the things I review and on these useful bibs it is the Velcro. Weird, I know, but the way these bibs are held closed is with a thick heavy duty Velcro that can't get pulled open by little hands....preventing more of a mess and food on my floor.

These bibs are very well made and wash up so nice. I toss them in the washer and don't have to reshape them back to their original shape like other bibs I have used.

Have you heard of Pocket Full of Posies yet??
Now I believe I have told you before, but I'll tell you yet again... I don't like to cook a whole lot. Anyone who knows me knows that and the reason why is that I hate it when 3 or 4 o'clock rolls around and I stand frustrated in front of my cupboards and fridge trying to scramble to put a decent meal together for my family.
UNTIL NOW. This monthly pocket system has done All of the work for me.
First, you start with a lovely packet like this one:

(there are many adorable styles to choose from)
It has sectioned off weekly pockets and it sticks right on your fridge.
Their are 2 ways to use it and I choose Option 1. It goes like this:
Option 1:
1. Create 4 recipe packs: (everything is included-40 recipes total)
-Choose 4 ingredient lists and the corresponding recipes.
2. Put 1 pack in each pocket.
3. Each week:
-Pull that week’s ingredient list
-Create a grocery shopping list
*Remember to buy everything from the ingredient list that you don’t already have, plus anything else you would need for the week. For example, I wouldn’t put spaghetti sauce on my list if I already have it on hand.
4. Do your grocery shopping.
*You will then have everything you need to make 5 meals for the week.
5. Each day:
-Choose a recipe and make it!
*There are 2 open days a week reserved for leftovers, eating out, etc.

SO EASY!! I think my favorite part is that each week has an ingredient list of all the things you will need for all the meals that week and they all correspond. No crazy weird ingredient that you will only use once. You grab it and take it to the store with you, simple as that.
